kmbre was born from a lifelong belief in the power of shared experience. Founded by Katrina McBride — masterplanner, urban designer and musician — the studio exists to create places where people are free to connect, belong and thrive.
Our clients are private developers, housing associations and government organisations who share one thing in common — an ambition to create truly great places, and the wisdom to bring in the right expertise to deliver them.
As a studio, we believe that the best masterplans aren't just technically sound — they tell a story. They create identity. They make people want to be there, to belong, and to thrive.
